Reporting to the Senior Vice President/CFO, supervises the general
accounting, AP, AR, payroll and grant accounting activities; works in
accordance with GAAP/GASB and specific directives exercising prudent
judgment. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
administration. CPA accreditation, MBA or MA/MS-Accounting required. A
minimum of five years of public or private accounting experience is
required. Annual renewable contract: $50,000 - $85,000.
Under direction of the Chief of the Department of Public Safety, plans,
organizes, and supervises the daily law enforcement, aircraft rescue
firefighting, and training operations; assists with the development of
departmental policy; responsible for overall employee professional
development; assumes responsibilities and functions of the Chief during
the incumbent's absence. Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, fire
science or public administration from any accredited college/university.
Masters degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) years experience in a
mid management capacity with a public safety agency. Annual renewable
contract: $50,000 - $85,000 annually.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, oversees and coordinates
construction activity of architectural and engineering projects. Assures
quality during construction by monitoring work and compliance with
construction documents and all applicable standards, codes, and
guidelines. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or
related field; a valid professional engineering license (P.E.) or a
valid architectural license (AIA or RA) in the state of Tennessee or the
ability to obtain one through comity in six months; and four years
experience in construction activities related to architecture or civil
engineering required. Annual renewable contract: $50,000 to $85,000.
Reporting to the Design Manager, performs project management functions
for the design phase of assigned capital projects. Makes design
decisions, determines methods and materials to be used on projects, and
ensures compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and policies.
Performs project management duties on various projects with different
funding sources that require FAA, state, city, and interdepartmental
interactions. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in
Engineering, Architecture, or related field; a valid professional
engineering license (P.E.) or a valid architectural license (AIA) in the
state of Tennessee or the ability to obtain one through comity in six
months required; and four years experience in design activities related
to architecture or engineering required. Annual renewable contract:
$50,000 to $85,000.
