"Airport Properties Manager - Fresno, Calif."

The City of Fresno is currently recruiting applicants to develop and manage
short and long-range comprehensive land and facility utilization plans, and
property marketing programs for the Airports Division.  The Airports
Planning Manager is responsible for all procedures and policies relating to
the business development/property management functions of the Airports
Property Management for both the commercial and general aviation airports.
This position supervises a staff of seven. The idea candidate should possess
strong leadership and management skills, the ability to accomplish
objectives and goals specified in airport plans, and extensive knowledge of
airport proposals, leases, permits, and other property documentation.
Knowledge of commercial real estate practices and principles is desired.
This is an unclassified position in which the incumbent serves at the will
of the Director of Transportation.  Requires: Graduation from an accredited
four year college or university with a Bachelorís degree in Aviation
(Airport Management), Public or Business Administration, urban planning,
transportation planning or related field; AND three years of professional
experience in airport planning, and/or property management. Possession of a
valid Class C California Driverís License required at time of appointment.
