Airport Operations Director Yuma International Airport. Yuma, Arizona. A challenging position at a small non-hub shared-use civil/military Part 139 commercial service airport with a strong general aviation presence and growing air cargo service. Directs airside and landside operations activities; ensures safe/secure airport environment, enforces federal state and local regulations, ensures shift coverage, supervises and trains operations staff. Must possess strong customer service and supervisory skills. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Experience using and trouble shooting computers and software such as database, office software, FIDS, security access control, facility lighting, etc. Must be knowledgeable of FAR’s/AC’s with extensive knowledge of FAR 139 & 1542. Annual salary $33,000, plus benefits package. On call 24/7. Minimum qualifications: B.S. in aviation management or related field, three years operations experience and operations supervisory experience at a part 139 shared-use airport, possess a valid driver’s license and pass the required 10 yr. criminal history FBI background check.
