Sacramento (Calif.) Airport System. The airport system is seeking an
airport/aviation management professional to direct airport master
planning activities, develop and implement capital improvement programs,
and oversee environmental programs. The airport system includes four
airports serving commercial (SMF), air cargo (MHR) and general aviation
(SAC and Q53). Qualifications: either two years as senior airport
planner with the county or three years of management experience in
planning, development or construction of airport facilities, including
policy and program development, budget preparation and administration or
contract administration. A bachelor's degree in engineering or
architecture; knowledge of consulting industry; experience leading and
mentoring planning/design professionals is desirable. $84,731-$93,417
annually plus a generous benefits including retirement, deferred
compensation, 3.35 percent management differential, medical, dental and
