Emissions, Glare and Smoke

Hello,
Does anyone have knowledge of specific standards that have been adopted as part
of an Airport Overlay Zone that deal with emissions, smoke and glare? I am
looking for examples of language that has been developed. Most of what I have
found is fairly vague and basically says these things shall not obscure pilot
visibility within approach corridors. Is there anything more quantitative
standards out there? Thanks!
