Index A & B ARFF truck

We opened bids for a 1500 gallon ARFF truck in early May.  The winning bid was Rosenbauer at $610,116.

Also, the FAA has a new AC out that requires the equipment on the truck to be bid separately - we'll probably be spending about $35K to outfit the truck.

Attached is our Bid Invitation Package.

Subject: CAA: Mutual Help List,  Index A & B ARFF truck

The Mesa-Falcon Field Airport (KFFZ) is looking at replacing its current Index B ARFF truck with either an new 1,500-2,000 gallon Index B truck or possibly switching to a smaller Index A truck.  As part of our budgeting process, I would like to find out what other airports have spent recently for a new Index A or B ARFF truck.  Thanks!
