Request the industry assist me by providing me with a Point of
Contact for their airport, their understanding of their SEI (was it
shared with them before conducting the inspection etc.), and the results of
their encounter with the TSA’s Special Emphasis Inspection (SEI) process.
We were never provided a copy of the SEI, and were told it was an
inspection of our Badgeing System with a focus on all badge holders so they
could validate their STA information and other areas. The TSA demanded
(under threat of penalty) information regarding employment status, identifying
information, status (lost, stolen, etc.) badge number etc. All of this
information was requested from tenants without our knowledge and from tenants
that the TSA does not have regulatory control over. They also
demanded all information contained in our badge database and our STA database
(they have their own access to that information). Regards, Timothy
