Small airport participation in/support for Super Bowl attendees

Has anyone had any experience in planning and providing for support of
aircraft flying in for a Super Bowl? Detroit has the 2006 Super Bowl,
and the Host Committee is organizing an aviation sub-committee to handle
the aviation support side of the event (no small airports were appointed
onto the committee). I'm particularly interested in how much traffic
that small GA airports received and what voice they had (if any) in the
planning process. Also, "I'll never do that again" stories and other
good/bad/ugly experiences in connection with Super Bowls would be
appreciated.
