Mutual Help List, Vehicles in Hangars

Title: Vehicles in Hangars

Hi Mario –

We permit t-hangar tenants to park a ski boat or an old car as long as it is not a fire hazard or affects their ability to park their aircraft.  I have found that the tenants appreciate the flexibility in this area.  We confirm that hangars are being used appropriately through a strong inspection program.

Subject: CAA: Mutual Help List, Vehicles in Hangars

Hello folks,

I've got a problem that I think is common to many airports.  I've got tenants that love to store vehicles in their T-hangars, in addition to their aircraft.  Our agreements state that they can only park their cars in there while they are flying, but I don't have any other language or a good reason to tell them why it is our policy.

Can anyone out there help me out with a better reason and some corresponding lease language why this is not permissible?

Thanks to everyone in advance.
