Thanks Tim,
I should have explained that this began with a plywood covered hole near
a taxiway. Whether this hole fell within the taxiway safety area or not
depended upon the width of that safety area. Of course the ADG is an
entering argument for determining the safety area width in AC
150/5300-13 Table 4-1. Turns out that taxiway is ADG I, the safety area
width just 49' and the hole beyond that.

Steve:
The FAA should have that Data in their Pavement Programs--check with
Reg. ADO. If your Eng./Maint. Department has their own paver program it
will tell you exact history of that taxiway. For example when
originally constructed, work done on it depth/breadth of soil (CBR) sub
base all the way to the top covering (con/asp or asphalic concrete mix)
and weight bearing capacity, and how may movements it will take before
you can expect to see deterioration.

Thanks all,
I had referred to AC 150/5300-13 but was looking for the specific ADG
for one of the taxiways on our airport. I'm being told there may be no
source document where those are listed for a specific (i.e. OAK)
airport.
