Mutual Help List, Criminal History Record Checks

Howard,

In Tucson we're still doing prints manually. (We've ordered an electronic
printer but it hasn't arrived yet.) Initially we were getting results back
in 45 - 60 days. I mentioned this to Charlotte Bryan with the FAA and she
was surprised. She said we should get them in 5 - 10 days. Shortly after
talking to her the results improved. Now we're getting them back in 5-7
days.

Leslie Garry is the person in our office handling the printing. You can
contact her at lgarry@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx . Maybe she can give you some
advice.

Subject: CAA: Mutual Help List, Criminal History Record Checks

I am having difficulty in getting information back on the individual
fingerprints that we submitted to the Aviation Clearinghouse. The form we
have to use is the ink prints rather than the electronic form. Is anyone
else having the same trouble, or is there anyone that has discovered the way
to get the results in the 7 - 10 days as we have been told it will take?
Some of the prints I submitted were received in Washington almost a month
ago I would like to hear about others experiences and maybe we can find a
way to improve it for all.
