Mutual Help List, "Gyroplanes, Etc."



Hi, Mary,

I think the FARs say something to the effect that all aircraft a certain
weight are considered ultralights.  We have a few ultralights and
gyrocopters at IYK and so far they haven't been a problem.  We segregate
them somewhat but they seem to be happy.  I agree that the powered
parachutes are something else!  Fortunately the only one we had has moved.
