GENERAL INFORMATION
The AAAE General Aviation (GA) Issues Conference is an annual
event which combines all aspects of general aviation on a national level.
This year's event is taking place in Los Angeles, California hosted by Van
Nuys Airport - the world's busiest general aviation airport. The 2008
Conference is presented in support with Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association (AOPA), Aviation Management Consulting Group (AMCG), General
Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), National Association of State
Aviation Officials (NASAO), and National Business Aviation Association
(NBAA).
The AAAE GA Issues Conference will cover a range of notable
issues affecting general aviation today and the challenges facing the
industry in the future. The sessions will provide an opportunity to exchange
ideas and discuss and debate a variety of issues vital to general aviation.
The conference will provide a unique networking forum with prominent figures
in the GA community, U.S. government, and industry.

"One Six Right" is an exhilarating documentary film
that celebrates the unsung hero of aviation - the local airport - by tracing
the life, history, and struggles of Van Nuys Airport. The private screening,
open only to conference attendees, will feature guest appearance by the
documentary’s producer/director Brian J. Terwilliger.
