Airport fueling dispute resolved
The Holland (MI) Sentinel
A disagreement between the city of Holland and ADB Corp. over fueling
policies at Tulip City Airport has been resolved, Assistant City Manager
Greg Robinson told the Airport Advisory Board on Tuesday morning.
ADB is building a hanger that will, among other planes, house Metal
Flow's corporate jet.
ADB also wanted to have its own private fueling station, but complained
that the city's fueling policy, which requires that money be set aside
for cleanup in case of a spill, was excessive.
After almost daily conversations, the two sides have agreed to abide by
the city's rules, Robinson said.
The issue will be discussed at tonight's city council meeting.
