New eateries open at Honolulu airport
The Honolulu (HI) Pacific Business News


Two new food vendors opened recently at the Honolulu International Airport. 

The state Department of Transportation announced that HMSHost Corp., in
charge of food services at Hawaii airports, opened a new Burger King
restaurant and a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop in the Overseas Terminal
near Gate 12. 

HMSHost's previously announced plans to open four new dining venues at
Kahului Airport on Maui by the end of the year are going as scheduled. 

Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill, which was developed in partnership with former
Van Halen lead singer Sammy Hagar, who lives on Maui, will open in July. 

Jamba Juice, California Pizza Kitchen ASAP and Burger King are scheduled to
open at the Kahului Airport in November.
