Dulles airport partially evacuated after suspicious bag found
Security guards examining piece of luggage, spokeswoman says

CHANTILLY, Va. - The ticketing areas at the busiest airport serving
Washington were evacuated as a precaution today after a suspicious bag was
found in the main terminal, airport officials said.
The entire ticketing level on the main level of Dulles International Airport
was evacuated shortly after 3 p.m., said Courtney Prebich, a spokeswoman for
the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Security guards were
examining the piece of luggage.
It was not immediately clear how many flights were being delayed.
