Sean Hunter named permanent director at Louis Armstrong airport

Sean Hunter, Interim Director of Aviation at Louis Armstrong International
Airport, has been named permanent director effective immediately.
The New Orleans Aviation Board voted on the move today.
Hunter, 41, has been serving as interim director since May 2006 when former
director Roy Williams left the airport. A native of Detroit, Hunter has 20
years of aviation experience.
"Sean has been doing a tremendous job since being named Interim Director
last year, and we felt that he was the best candidate for the position,"
said Lea Polk Montgomery, Chair of the Aviation Board's Personnel Committee.
