Terrorists could also expedite airport security
The Nashville
Tennessean
Recent articles about paying $100 a year to expedite
passage through airport security, in my opinion, is a clear indication that it’s
about money — not security (“Air travelers have long wait till pre-screening is
offered,” May 10).
Over time, we have uncovered terrorist cells in our
communities around the country, composed of individuals that have learned how to
blend in. Maybe some, but not all, will pass the litmus test and pay the $100,
and the experts will be asking, “How did they get on that flight?” We can’t have
our cake and eat it.
It’s a new world and we need to make adjustments and
focus on how to improve security, not how to circumvent it. Pass along that
idea.
