Meeting planners rank airport security top issue
By David Wilkening

Better security easily beat out passport concerns when US meeting and
business planners were asked the top issue facing the US Congress after next
month's elections.

Forty-five percent of respondents said "standardizing security procedures at
all airports" was their top concern, said the latest MiMegasite.com survey.

That trailed the runner-up concern, "holding down the price of oil," which
drew 37%.

Perhaps surprisingly, only 7% of respondents said "relaxing the new
visa/passport rules for US-bound foreigners" was the top issue.
