KCI passenger numbers climb again in September
The Kansas City (MO) Star
For the ninth consecutive month, passenger traffic numbers at Kansas City
International Airport are up from last year.
The 842,384 passengers arriving and departing from KCI in September
represented a 9.3-percent increase from September 2005, according to data
released today by the Kansas City Aviation Department.
After a flat showing in 2005, monthly travel figures this year have
increased. So far this year, almost 8 million passengers have passed through
KCI, putting the airport on pace to top 10 million in 2006, the first time
since 2001.
