Airport Security Coordinator Class in Phoenix Rescheduled for October 26
Attend Upcoming ASC Course then Stay in Phoenix for Arizona Airports Meeting

(Phoenix, AZ)  Airport security officials and operations agents will learn valuable skills and understanding of 49CFR 1542 requirements at the upcoming Airport Security Coordinator class in Phoenix.  AviaEd will hold an ASC course at the Arizona Small Business Center on October 26.  Several Arizona airport security professionals will participate in the day long discussion of TSA security rules with which airports must comply.  The course is open to any airport person with security responsibilities or those consultants who advise airports on how the regulations affect their facilities.

These classes are held periodically to assist airports to qualify additional personnel to serve as their airport's security coordinator.  Each class is updated to address the changing security environment and regulatory requirements of the TSA.  The TSA has stated, "having long-time ASCs and new ASCs in the same class provides an opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge accumulated by experienced ASCs."

Each ASC class includes discussion on the role of DHS, threat information and the ASC responsibilities, as well as writing and maintaining a current airport security program.  Participants share experiences and benchmark case studies.  Attending airport personnel learn valuable skills and share their experiences making this a rewarding experience for everyone.  The one-day course follows the curriculum guidelines of the TSA.  There is still time to register by October 18 and confirm a spot in the upcoming course.  Register online at http://www.aviaed.net/ASC_Course_Registration.htm

Certificates are issued to each attendee of the ASC program to document completion of training and comply with 49 CFR 1542.3.  AviaEd has conducted more ASC classes for the nation's airports than any other company.

To discuss hosting an onsite class at your airport, visit www.AviaEd.NET  or email Info@xxxxxxxxxxx  For those unable to attend this session additional class dates are posted online.  The next scheduled courses will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL on December 4, 2006 and Spokane WA in April 2007.
