These classes are held periodically by AviaEd to assist airport personnel qualify additional personnel to serve as their airport?s security coordinator.  The TSA has stated, "having long-time ASCs and new ASCs in the same class provides an opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge accumulated by experienced ASCs."

Each ASC class includes discussion on the role of DHS, threat information and the ASC responsibilities, as well as writing and maintaining a current airport security program.  Participants share experiences and benchmark case studies.  Neighboring airport personnel will share their experiences and make this a rewarding experience for everyone.  The daylong course follows the curriculum guidelines of the TSA.  There is still time to register by August 18 and confirm a spot in one of the upcoming courses.  Register online at http://www.aviaed.net/ASC_Course_Registration.htm
