Large knife found in public restroom at Ben Gurion
Israel - The Jerusalem Post
Security guards at Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday morning found a large
kitchen knife hidden in a stall in one of the public restrooms in Terminal
3.
The knife was discovered during a routine check of the premises, thanks to
the alertness and caution of the security staff, the airport spokesperson
said.
Following the discovery of the knife, security teams have been conducting
intensive checks on passengers, as well as on anyone entering Terminal 3 or
any other area of the airport.
Security staff believed that the knife was hidden by a passenger who feared
that it would be discovered during the security check.
