Airport wins industry awards for services
The Tennessean
Nashville International Airport landed three industry awards in the
categories of Airport with Best Customer Service, Airport with Best
Concessions Management Team and Airport with Most Unique Services.
The announcement came in the February 2005 issue of Airport Revenue News
(ARN) magazine's 10th Annual Best of 2005 Concessions poll.
Since the surveys began in 1995, airport concession programs have improved
significantly in presentation, style and overall operational excellence.
The judges for the poll include airport professionals, consultants and
concessionaires within the aviation industry.
The accolades come after the airport was named one of USA Today's 10 great
places to hang out during a layover.
''The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is very pleased by the ARN
acknowledgement and extremely proud of the recognition,'' said Raul
Regalado, president and chief executive officer of the authority.
