Haitian government sets up committee to improve airport services
Haiti - Metropole radio

[Announcer] Another committee was set up by the interim government last
week. This time, it is a committee that will work to improve the quality of
service at the international airport. The decision was taken at the meeting
of the council of ministers which was held on 3 February. The transitional
government wants to make things easier for people who visit the country.
Enock Jean-Charles, secretary-general of the council of ministers, gave the
following explanation:

[Jean-Charles - recording, in Creole] During this meeting, the council of
ministers found it necessary to improve services at the international
airport rapidly. In order for the government to ensure that the airport
provides adequate services to travellers, a committee was created to this
end. This committee will make recommendations and ensure the improvement of
services at the airport.

All the members are actually part of the ministerial cabinet and are as
follows: the public works minister, the commerce minister, the finance and
economy minister, the minister for Haitians living abroad, and the
communications and culture minister.
