"Australia's Macquarie Airports Management Sees Profit Rise at Brussels Int'l Airport"

AUSTRALIA'S MAM SEES PROFIT RISE AT BRUSSELS INT'L AIRPORT CO

SYDNEY, Asia Pulse - Macquarie Airports Management Ltd today said Brussels
International Airport Company, which it owns as part of a consortium,
reported a 19.5 increase in calendar 2004 net profit.

MAM said the result confirmed the airport was a strong addition to its
portfolio, which includes stakes in Sydney Airport, Rome Airport and Bristol
and Birmingham airports in the UK.

The fund owns 52 per cent of the airport following the completition of the
consortium acquisition in December.

"The intergration of BIAC into the MAM portfolio is running smoothly," chief
executive Kerrie Mather said.

The airport announced 2004 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and
amortisation (EBITDA) of $A135.9 million (US$105 million), up from $113.7
million.

Ms Mather said the results was in line with expectations and was driven by
increasing passenger numbers and cargo volumes.

Macquarie Airport securities closed up one cent to $3.51.
