Iran's airport contract with Turkey lost - Iranian agency
Iran - Mehr news agency
Tehran, - Head of the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) claimed unawareness
about the existence of a 200 page contract with the Turkish TAV Company
while he had already confirmed its existence last summer.
TAV company had a BOT contract with Iran's Ministry of Roads and
Transportation to build, operate, and transfer the Imam Khomeyni
International Airport (IKIA) that is located on the suburbs of capital
Tehran.
Hasan Hajali said that he signed a three-page contract only which did not
allow the Turkish side to participate either in the security or in the
aviation affairs at the airport.
The main contract has apparently been lost and therefore the Parliament has
no precise information to refer if a study is supposed to be carried out on
the subject.
