Chubu airport provides preview ahead of formal opening

NAGOYA - Chubu Centrair International Airport in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture,
began a two-day preview of its facilities on Saturday for 32,000 people
chosen through a lottery before its official opening on Feb 17.

About half of the successful applicants and guests entered the new airport
with a 3,500-meter runway Saturday as its first visitors. The building is
located on a reclaimed island off Tokoname in Ise Bay.
