US Airways to pull out of Hagerstown Regional Airport
The Associated Press

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - US Airways is pulling out of Hagerstown Regional Airport
in March.

That potentially puts an end to commercial flights at the Washington County
airport.

Airport Manager Carolyn Motz says the airport hopes to find a carrier that
would pick up the commercial flights.

U-S Airways spokeswoman Amy Kudwa says the airline has no plans to reinstate
scheduled passenger service once it stops on March sixth.

Kudwa says there are no plans to do that at this time. She says the decision
to end the Hagerstown service was made by Air Midwest, the carrier that
provides the service to and from the airport for U-S Airways Express.

The carrier offers four daily flights to and from Pittsburgh.
