Ruzyne wants to be the main airport of Central Europe

Ceska sprava letist (CSL) (Prague, Czech Republic), airport management
company, wants to transform the airport in Prague-Ruzyne into the main
airport of Central Europe. This airport is the largest airport within new
member countries of the EU in 2004. According to CSL, the airport in
Prague-Ruzyne cleared nearly 7.5 mil passengers in 2003. The uantity
corresponds to the total number of passengers cleared by all airports in
Poland. CSL increased its estimate during 4 2004 to more than 9.6 mil
cleared passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyne for all 2004 compared to
the originally expected 9.2-9.6 mil passengers.
