Travelers Come Home To Car Break-ins At The Airport
WSOC-TV Ch 9 (ABC), Charlotte (NC)
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Several holiday travelers returned to Charlotte's airport
today, only to discover that someone broke into their cars and stole
valuables left inside.
Reports on seven break-ins were filed with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police
Thursday.
Officials are advising travelers who park their cars in the satellite
parking lots at the airport to make sure that valuables are locked up in the
car trunk, so thieves aren't tempted to break-in and take them.
