Cuban Airport Receives International Quality Certificate
CubaXP.com

The Jardines del Rey International Airport, in eastern Ciego de Avila
province, has received the 2000 ISO 9001 quality standard certificate.

The National Standardization Office and Veritas Bureau International, a
Brazil-based verifying society, granted the certificate, which will be valid
until 2007.

According to analysts, the certificate is an acknowledgement of the
excellent work carried out by the Cuban Enterprise of Airports and
Aeronautic Services (ECASA).

The ISO 9001 quality standards meet all parameters set for airport
activities, including supply of fuel, lubricants and special liquids to
airplanes.

It also includes maintenance of airport facilities and commercial operations
to meet the clients' demands.

The Jardines del Rey International Airport has contributed to an increase in
tourist arrivals in that Cuban tourist resort.
