ASIG Voted World’s Best Airport Operator

Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG) was chosen as the World’s Best Airport Operator” by world airlines in the 9th annual Armbrust Aviation Group (AAG) survey.  A record seventy-one (71) major, national, regional, charter and cargo carriers participated in this year’s survey. ASIG was judged “Best Overall” and took top honors as “Best Operator in North America easily outdistancing other competitors.  ASIG was also voted tops in several customer service categories; “Quality of Service” - “Best Staff” and “Most Competitive”.

Shell Aviation finished second overall but took top honors as “Best Airport Operator” in the Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.  Shell was also judged has having the “Best Training” and “Technical Expertise”Air BP placed third overall and was judged “Best Airport Operator” in Africa/Middle East.

 

ASIG, Shell and Air BP will receive their awards at a formal presentation ceremony the evening of February 3, 2005 at the 7th Annual AAG International Airport Operations/Jet Fuel Conference & Exhibition at Omni ChampionsGate Hotel in Orlando.  The conference will also host a special session of the Airport Operations Safety Panel (AOSP) with daily sessions devoted to airport operations issues.  Contact Barb Moreno at 561.355.8488 ext 104 for more information, or at bmoreno@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
