ATO Head Chew to Brief ATCA on Business Plan, X-Prize Founder to Speak at
Scholarship Lunch
ATCA PRESS RELEASE


Alexandria, Virginia - The Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) today
announced that Air Traffic Organization Chief Operating Officer Russ Chew
will make his first formal briefing on ATO's new business plan at the
association's 49th Annual Conference and Exposition.  At the same time,
announced that X-Prize Founder Dr. Peter Diamandis will be a featured
speaker at the event's Scholarship Lunch.

Chew's presentation was added to the program as a special ATO event and is
scheduled for 3:15 to 4 p.m. November 3.  The Scholarship Lunch featuring
Diamandis will be held November 1.

"Russ Chew's presentation is a significant addition to the ATCA program and
the association is appreciative that Mr. Chew has chosen ATCA's annual
conference to brief professionals from throughout the industry on ATO's
plans for its future operations," said Mark De Plasco, ATCA Vice President
for Technical Services.

At the Scholarship Lunch, Diamandis will provide first-hand comment on the
spectacular Ansari X-Prize that he created.  The prize, $10 million for the
first successful civilian space flight, was won earlier this month by a
space vehicle designed by famed aircraft designer Burt Rhutan, and piloted
by Brian Binnie.  The X-Prize Foundation is a non-profit education
organization promoting the formation of space-related prizes. Dr. Diamandis
also serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Angel Technologies
Corp. 

Also featured as speakers at ATCA's 49th Annual Conference and Exposition
will be U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta.  The Conference will
be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, D. C. October
31-November 3.  Registration for the conference is open to all in the

professional membership association to represent the interests of all
professionals in the air traffic control community.  With more than 2,100
members, it is dedicated to the advancement of the professionalism and
