Kelleher to stay on as chairman at Southwest Airlines
The Phoenix (AZ) Business Journal
Southwest Airlines signed Herb Kelleher to a three-year contract extension
to continue on as its chairman.
Kelleher's annual base pay will be $450,000, according to a filing with the
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Dallas-based airline also signed its CEO Gary Kelly, to a three-year
contract, with a base pay of $399,722 for the first year of the deal.
Southwest is the second-largest airline operating out of Phoenix Sky Harbor
International Airport.
