Airport snafu delays travelers
The Associated Press

SIOUX FALLS (AP) - Some people trying to catch planes from the Sioux Falls
Airport on Friday were delayed due to a security problem.

People were in line from top of the escalator back to the baggage claim area
over the noon hour after airport officials said a bag had gotten through
security that hadn't been checked.

Security workers cleared the concourse and made everyone line up and go
through baggage screening again. The bag was found.

Airport director Mike Marnach said the unusual incident stemmed from a
communication problem. "It's an anomaly or strange item here," he said.
