Indianapolis Airport reports record passenger traffic
The Associated Press

Indianapolis International Airport officials say passenger traffic set a
new one-month record in June.

Nearly 748-thousand passengers traveled through the airport in June,
compared to the previous record of nearly 724-thousand in March of 2000.

Airport Director Paul Dooley says passenger traffic at the airport has
rebounded faster than the airline industry as a whole.

Several airlines have recently announced additional fights to the
Indianapolis airport.

Dooley says that by November first, there will be 199 daily departures
to 41 nonstop destinations from Indianapolis.
