Haneda runway closed after hole found in fence

TOKYO - Tokyo's Haneda airport closed one of its three runways for about
40 minutes Monday after a hole was found in an outer fence, the airport
operator and police said.
Shortly before 5 p.m., a security guard found a hole about 50
centimeters in diameter in the wire fence dividing the airport area from
the outside, they said. There was no sensor in the area.
