METROPOLITAN NASHVILLE AIRPORT AUTHORITY NAMES WATSON MANAGER, PUBLIC
AFFAIRS AND COMMUNICATIONS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA)
has named Kelly Watson manager, public affairs and communications.
Watson will be responsible for coordinating policies and plans affecting
internal and external communications, public affairs, advertising, media
and airport marketing.  She will serve as the spokesperson for the MNAA.

"We are excited that Kelly is joining our team," said Raul Regalado,
president and CEO of Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.  "She
brings a unique knowledge of the aviation industry as well as a keen
understanding of working with an Airport Authority."

Previously, Watson served as an independent marketing consultant for the
aviation industry.  Prior to consulting, she was the director of
marketing for the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority, where she
independently developed and managed several award-winning marketing and
public relations programs for the CMAA and various airlines.  

Watson received a bachelor's degree in marketing in 1996 from Kennesaw
State University.  In addition, she spent time in Oaxaca, Mexico at
Universidad de Benito Juarez where she studied Mexican history and
Spanish.  She was a member of the Airports Council International (ACI)
and the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority was established in 1970 as
a non-profit corporation.  The Authority owns and operates Nashville
International Airport and John C. Tune General Aviation Airport.
