Mike Landguth Named Interim Airport CEO
The Chattanoogan, TN

February 16, 2004

Mike Landguth has been promoted to interim CEO at the
Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport from his post as vice
president of operations.

Meanwhile, Airport Authority Board Chairman Dan
Jacobson named a board panel to choose a permanent
successor to Mark VanLoh, who resigned to pursue
business interests here.

Named to the panel were Allen Corey, Bill Kilbride,
Amy Walker Cherry and Donna Williams.

Gene Veazey, another board member, noted the panel
last time included three from the board and two from
the community, and he said a consultant was used.

Mr. Jacobson said the board panel would start off
without a consultant, and he said it would look
locally as well as nationally. He said advertisements
on the post would be placed soon.

Mr. Landguth, who has been at the airport since 1999,
will be paid $90,000.

Mr. Jacobson said, "We are fortunate to already have a
person with Mike's capabilities on the team."
