Daytona Airport Traffic Up 16% in 2003

Passenger traffic at Daytona Beach International
Airport during 2003 was up 16.38 percent over the
previous year, according to data from the Volusia
County Department of Economic Development. 
  
During 2003, passenger traffic at the county-operated
airport surpassed the previous year in all 12 months. 

For 2003, 565,563 passengers flew in and out of the
airport as compared to 485,961 passengers in 2002. 

Passenger traffic in December, meanwhile, was up 4.3
percent from December 2002. 

During December, DBIA had 46,148 total passengers, an
increase of 1,919 from the previous December.
