Lockheed Wins Contract at D/FW

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has selected Lockheed Martin Corp. for 
an $8.5 million security upgrade project at Terminal C, the contractor said 
Wednesday. 

The project will automate the checked baggage screening, which checks luggage 
for potential threats. The upgrade will allow the machines to be moved from 
passenger areas and will be paid for with money from the Transportation 
Security Administration. 

The equipment for the project will be manufactured at Lockheed's facility in 
Hancock County, Miss.
