Airport Board Approves Sales of Bonds

Raleigh-Durham International will have to scale back its wish list for 
expansion. The Airport Authority's board approved the sale of $35 million in 
bonds to continue plans to expand Terminal C. Terminal C was once the American 
Airlines hub.

The bond brings the total amount RDU can spend on renovations to about $350 
million. The airport had planned on spending as much as $500 million.

RDU wants to add more gates, security and ticketing stations.
