FYI Conducts Passenger Survey

FRESNO, CA (December 01, 2003) – Beginning today and throughout the next three weeks, FYI staff will be asking passengers and airport guests for information. The short questionnaire is intended to help determine the airport’s current catchment (service) area, the mixture of leisure to business travel, where passenger are flying to and from, and additional destinations the traveling public would like to see served by airlines.

“In the past, much of this information was gathered with from travel agents,” commented Patti Miller, FYI spokeswoman. “Airline staff have advised us that now almost half of airline bookings are from Internet and direct airline purchase, so we are going directly to our customers for the most accurate information to continue the competitive growth at FYI,” Miller continued.

FYI offers 45 daily departures through seven carriers: American Airlines, American Eagle, Horizon Air, America West Express (Mesa), Allegiant Air, and United Express and the Delta Connection, both operated by SkyWest.
