Hooters Air
Channel 13 (ABC)
(Columbus-AP) -- Hooters Air -- the new airline owned by the
restaurant company known for its scantily clad waitresses -- will begin
service in Columbus on December 18. The
airline will offer one flight a day to Atlanta from Rickenbacker Airport
on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday, with continuing service to Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina, and Nassau, Bahamas. Passengers also can catch
flights in Myrtle Beach to Fort Myers,
Florida. Fares are $69 each way, plus
taxes and other charges. Hooters Girls
will be on board, mingling, selling T-shirts and running trivia contests.
The company will interview waitresses at its two Hooters restaurants in
Columbus to serve on Hooters Air flights, working one week a month with
the airline and three weeks at the
restaurant. Each plane also will have
two pilots and three flight attendants. |
