Springfield Residents Heated Over New Airport Zoning Issues
WHIOtv.com (OH)
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- A dispute over personal property rights is looming in
Springfield.
Residents are fighting plans to rezone a large tract of land near the
Springfield Municipal Airport.
The Stop Airport Zoning Coalition took its message to the county
commissioners Thursday night.
Residents packed the high school gym to voice their concerns about the
impact on property values, but also the restrictions the rezoning will have
on development.
Clark and Greene County commissioners are examining a draft of the rezoning
plans and they will make a decision later this year.
