Aeroports de Paris modernises runway at Roissy
(Aeroports de Paris profite de l'ete pour refaire la piste 1 de Roissy)

French airport operator Aeroports de Paris has awarded a contract for the
modernisation of runway 1 at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport to
Alsace-based Trabet, a subsidiary of Rhenane d'Entreprise. Trabet has until
August 22, when the runway will reopen, to fulfil the 13m-euro contract.
Runway 1, which has been closed since July 28, is to form a new double
runway with the adjoining runway 3, operated by a new control tower which is
under construction.
