Airport Companies Lacking Contracts
The Associated Press

More than a dozen companies at Atlanta's airport are working under expired
contracts or no contracts.

Businesses from shoe shiners to rental car agencies are working without
valid licenses at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport, which costs the
city lost tax revenue.

Hartsfield officials did an inventory of the facility. In some cases, they
found companies operating, that are paying rent, but there's no agreement.

The airport has negotiated new agreements with the companies and expects to
submit them to the City Council for approval in September.
