Airports of Thailand's revenue down 7%
Thai Press Reports

Airports of Thailand Plc, the operator of Don Muang International
Airport, is feeling the pinch from the Sars outbreak and war in Iraq. It
has predicted revenue will decrease by 7 per cent this year compared to
2002.

The company's acting president, Bancha Pattanaporn, announced the
expected revenue slump yesterday. Yet he predicted the company would
still manage a net profit for the year of Bt6.6 billion.

Last year the airport operator posted a Bt7.2-billion net profit.
However 40-per-cent fewer passengers passed through Don Muang during
April and May this year and there were 38-per-cent less passengers in
the first week of June. Airports of Thailand is hoping traffic will be
back to normal by July.
