Curbside pickups are nixed again at Reno airport
The Associated Press

People who are picking up passengers at the Reno airport no longer can wait
at the curb for their arrivals.

The options are to pay for parking or to just keep circling in front of the
terminal. It's a security tradeoff with the feds. The option is for workers
to stop and inspect the vehicles like they do in Las Vegas.

Airport spokesman Adam Mayberry says a lot of security measures are in place
at the airport that people don't see. But this is not one of them. He also
says few airports have parking garages as close to the terminal as Reno
does. And the lap around the garage passes right in front of the terminal.
